Watercolour is probably the art medium I have used for the longest time. However even with this I have made many new discoveries over the past few years, such as watercolour sheets from Peerless and Viviva with wonderful vivid colours, Schminke and Jackman’s granulating watercolours giving texture and character, metallic watercolours, gouache and watercolour pens and pencils from Faber Castell, Derwent, Ecoline etc. I also love Derwent Inktense, which are permanent ink like colours. I like creating both looser style watercolours and more structured line and wash work.
